Have you ever spent a week at camp? If you were fortunate enough as a child or teen to share in that experience, then you may still have very vivid memories of the fun that you shared with your camping buddies and counselors that are unique to the camping adventure.

Lutheran Outdoor Ministries is bringing that experience to Ascension the week of July 16th-20th. The LOMO camp counselors will lead the children in all of the same activities that they would experience at Camp Mowana (except for night time activities) here at Ascension. The fun will begin at 9:00 a.m. each morning and end at 3:00 p.m. There will be a special program for 3-5 year olds from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The cost of the camp is $40 per child (early registration cost) which includes all materials needed (except for a brown bag lunch that each child brings each day) and a t-shirt for tye-dying. LOMO requires that we place a deposit for half of the tuition by March 1, so if you wish to participate in this wonderful opportunity, we are asking that you register your child and make a $20 deposit by Sunday, February 26.

Registration forms will be available in the narthex. Please give the completed forms and deposit to Jean Mueller. The remainder of the tuition will be due by April 29. The tuition for children registered after February 26 will be $50. Friends of the children are always welcomed, so invite others to join us in this great week of sharing God’s love through the camping experience.
